The New Jersey Nets will take on the Toronto Raptors at The O2 in London on 4th and 5th March, 2011 in the NBA's first UK comptitive match. Following on from the yet to be seen sell out game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers, two matches will be played back to back to raise basketballs profile before the London 2012 Olympics.

The New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors both play in the NBA's Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division. While the Toronto Raptors are second in the divison winning 40 of their 82 games, the Nets finished the season with a 12-70 record, only winning 12 of their games.
